In this video, I had the honor of sitting down with my daughter, Madelin Smith to discuss her journey of athletics from and early age through becoming a team leader at the D1 level.
As a footnote to this video, I would like to add what a privilege it was to attend her senior weekend and parent banquet where I watched her coach break down in tears when she spoke of Madelin. She was moved emotionally when she spoke about what Madelin's example of leadership meant to her and the team as she built a new program from ground zero.
